A Message From The Pioneer Of Women Activism, Susan B. Anthony
Discover Ways For You Of Connecting To Spirit.
I want to talk about something that happened in our spirit-guided shaman training class. The students were invited to find three ancestors, and we were going to work with our ancestor energy and being able to have stepped into their shoes, get messages and gifts from them. I asked for a volunteer. One of the students, Lauren, volunteered to be the demo, so we could show how this would work. I say, “Great.” We are all in the same Zoom room with her. She's not on camera. Her video was turned off. I said, “Lauren, thank you for volunteering. Who is the ancestor that you would like to work with?” She said, “Susan B Anthony.” I said, “Susan B Anthony, seriously?” “Yes, she is a direct descendant of this incredible woman of pioneer rights and activists who were born in the 1820s.” I said, “Beautiful.”
She was apparently a great-great-aunt or some kind of a cousin but she’s a direct ancestor. I invited Lauren to step into the shoes of Susan B Anthony and to stand up. She did so. At this point, I could see Lauren stand up. There was a beautiful background but she'd be disappearing a bit in this beautiful sunrise background. I began to ask Susan B Anthony questions. I said, “Sweet one, what was your life like?” She began to describe her life and that she suffered a lot for what she had to accomplish. She went through a lot. At this point, the strange noises started to come through as well, so loud that I had to ask Susan B Anthony, “Sweetie, I need you to use words.”
The people were putting in the chat like, “Do you hear that? What's that noise?” Lauren would answer for her. I could also hear Lauren's voice like Susan B Anthony was speaking through Lauren. We asked her other questions like, “What is your regret? Do you have any regrets in your life?” She said her regret was that she never found love. At this point, we ask Susan B Anthony how she died. It was so hard to hear Lauren through all of this noise, and on the screen, these images were coming and going like a figure.
There was like black, amorphous in that beautiful sunset or sunrise. It was this amazing moment where Susan B Anthony was really coming through. Apparently, she died of old age, and her heart stopped but she was alone. We asked Susan B Anthony, “What are the gifts you want to give for this precious one, Lauren, who's living now, who is your great descendant?” The gifts that she wanted to give Lauren were to understand that she doesn't have to work to be loved. She doesn't have to work to deserve love and to accept love.
Understand that you don't have to work to be loved.
“Lauren, you are stronger than you realize.” She used some other words like perseverant, steadfast, and confident. At this point, we asked Susan B Anthony to pick up this West stone that we are using in class and to blow those gifts for Lauren into the stone. Susan B Anthony was blowing these gifts into the stone to give to her great descendant. Lauren stepped back out of the shoe, Susan B Anthony. I said, “Step back out of the shoes. Thank you so much.” We said goodbye to Susan B Anthony.
I asked Lauren, “Are you there?” Lauren was like, “Yes, I'm back.” Now all of those odd noises had stopped. We did the next activity where Lauren got to receive the gifts into her chakra. They went into her throat chakra. She got to receive these beautiful gifts. We removed our sacred space from around Lauren. They went into breakout rooms, and people did this activity with different ancestors.
It was remarkable. Susan B Anthony was coming through so strong that I had to ask for clear messages and invite her to speak through Lauren because I couldn't understand those words and the sounds that were coming through with so much beautiful, precious energy. We were all curious about this because we had experienced this amazing moment. The next morning, I was making the video to give to the participants of the class. First of all, when I was uploading the three videos from the class, one let me upload it and go into iMovie to make it into a video for the class but when I tried to upload the video with Susan B Anthony, it wouldn't upload. It says, “There's no space on the computer. There's no way to do this.”
I'm like, “Interesting.” I had to sit with it and figure out how to go around the computer. I worked with some things and was finally able to get the video to upload. I noticed that when I played that part, there was no picture. There was no sunset, this figure or this disappearing form that would come and go. It just had the video with a line through it, the person was not on camera, and they were speaking. I'm like, “That makes sense.” Lauren did say afterward that she did not have her video on during this exercise. I thought, “That's weird because we all saw something the entire time you were in Susan B Anthony’s shoes. That's odd,” but we could hear the sounds.
We could hear me barely through all of that. We could hear the messages that were coming through Susan B Anthony when we could hear Lauren's voice. I was scrolling through that timeline bar at the base of the video. I scroll ahead to a different part. I want to see where did it start exactly. At what part of the class did that recording start? Suddenly, I saw on the little picture that comes up like the preview plane of that part of the video, there was the image that we all saw. I grabbed a screenshot of it. It's not on the big video picture but on that timeline bar. I grabbed another one. It can't show up on the big screen but I grabbed a few screenshots. There's proof that we caught pictures of something when the person did not have her camera on.
This is wild. I'm writing an email to everyone in the class, giving the links to the video. I'm like, “Sweet ones, we are so blessed that Susan B Anthony came through. We are allowed that we are getting a message. These messages are for Lauren, specifically gifts for her but also that we were allowed to witness this, to be part of this, and see and hear what happened.” Maybe the message for us all is that we are stronger, more powerful than we know and that Susan B Anthony is still coming through. She's still able to come through and bring these beautiful messages of peace and equity. She fought for Women's Rights. Also, at seventeen, she was out collecting petitions for anti-slavery. She fought for Social Reform and Social Equity.
Imagine how powerful this is to have this coming through. I'm truly blessed that I’ve got to be part of this and that this happened in our class. These are the kinds of things that happened when we opened the door to spirit, and we allow this beautiful, safe connection and portal to spirit that we all have access to. What I like about our class is we get to do it safely in a beautiful container.
