Does life exist after death? Are guardian angels true? Susan Norton says yes, and in this episode, she recalls an experience that affirmed to her how guardian angels exist and that they can help and support us. With a poignant and touching story, she remembers her friend Debbie Thomas, who continues to be the eyes in the sky and sends sunlight from up above.
---
When I was a young person in college, I was in a theater program. There was one young girl there by the name of Debbie Thomas. I would look at her and I saw this small young woman. Her skin seemed rather gray and she was the kindest and the most wonderful person you could imagine. She was supportive. One day my director theater teacher criticized me and made me feel terrible. She would come over, comfort me, and made me feel better. She was thoughtful and kind. She was quite an amazing actress. I would wonder sometimes about her eyes. They seem to have a film over them. She seemed small for her age and her skin seemed to have a gray hue.
Life exists after death. We have guardian angels, and they can help and support us.
I was self-absorbed at that time. I was doing a lot of drinking and self-centered. My life was not the best place at that time. One night when I was sleeping, I had my mishmash drunken dream. All of a sudden, in my dream, I saw a sky. In the sky was her face. I saw Debbie Thomas's eyes and she was looking at me. She was in the sunlight and smiling, perfectly at peace, happy and radiant. Her eyes were clear. Her skin was beautiful and she was beaming at me. I went back to my mishmash dreams. I woke up in the morning and remembered this. I walked to my theater class and I saw her best friend sitting there in class. I sat next to her and said, “I had the strangest dream about Debbie Thomas last night.” She said, “So did I.”
I told her about my dream. We were grasping hands and she said to me, “The same thing happened to me in my dream, except in my dream, Debbie Thomas spoke to me and said, ‘I will be your guardian angel for the rest of your life.’” The teacher walks in and she said, “I have some bad news. Debbie Thomas died last night at 2:00 in the morning.” This friend and I were shocked. We didn't know that she was sick. She had leukemia. We didn't find out until later. She had a rare blood disease and passed away that night.
What's significant about this dream is that she could appear to me after death. She communicated with me and I got to see how happy, healed, whole and beautiful. She cared enough to reach out to me and let me see that and witness her, then to have her best friend have the same thing happen and to receive the message that she's going to be this woman's guardian angel for the rest of her life. That proves to me that life exists after death, that we have guardian angels, and that they can help us and support us. I have been telling that story for years and I'm grateful that Debbie Thomas got a chance to do that. Maybe because she knew I’ll bring it out to this world and I needed that message at that time.
There are people among us perhaps with illnesses or with their different states of being. Perhaps they're older or young, or wise and spiritual. Debbie Thomas is an incredibly spiritual person. She's highly evolved and advanced. I honestly did not know her that well. I appreciated her. I liked her, but for her to be able to reach me that way is amazing. There's something about that that touched my life forever. I will never doubt again that life ends when we pass away because I'm 100% sure that this happened. This was validated by the other girl's experience. It's helpful. I wanted you to know that too. I know that from the work that I do and from the things that I see, that we always have ascended ones, angels, guides, power animals, God, that helps us and that's always there for us.
Our neediness is what brings us to each other.
When we open our hearts and we ask to be shown or see these luminous ones, that they can come. They do care no matter how far down we've gone and what mistakes we might have made, because I know I made so many. It touches my heart. I wanted to honor Debbie Thomas and let her know that that was the most precious thing she could have done for me. I'm glad she's healed, whole, happy, and that she sent the sunlight and is still reaching hearts. I bet she's helping other people in need. Our neediness is what brings us to each other. That's helped us reach out and seek solutions and spiritual help. Drugs or things that deaden us are not the solution. I tried that and it didn't work. It just brought me deeper into the tunnel.
I wanted to share that with you. I hope you have enjoyed reading this and it's 100% true. This was years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. Thank you and may you be blessed and guided on your journey and touched by your guides. They may come as tiny lights out the sides of your eyes. You may feel a presence of something touching your hands or a warmth. The luminous ones always feel comfortable and good when they show themselves. Thank you. Have a beautiful day. Take care.
